LEAVING THE BOAT AT THE DOCK TO GO HOME CHECKLIST
INSIDE
Close all windows/portholes
AC panel: turn everything off EXCEPT battery charger and refrigerator
DC panel: turn off everything EXCEPT cabin lights fwd, Panel 3 and Sumps (2)
Panel 3: leave network on so we can find the boat on Marine Traffic
Set thermostats to ‘OFF’ (one in pilot house, one in aft stateroom)
Engine room: Close seacocks for heads, engine cooling and mermaids
Pilot house: Cover all instruments
Turn off the icemaker
On deck:
Put up windshield screen
Take in bow seat cushions
Put bow burgee in pilot house
Remove flags/burgees from mast, stow in aft deck box
Ensure all deck items are secured
Place taffrail table in down/locked position
Make sure you have a key
Lock pilot house doors
Close & latch all portholes
Make sure the boat is tied to the dock (2 springlines, bow, stern)
Close & latch gates
